Simon Ashen

I‘ve worked in the film industry for almost 30 years. Having started in 1995 as an uncredited runner on the first Mission Impossible movie. 

I have now been a 1st AD for 25 years working on numerous TV commercials and music videos.  I’ve had the privilege of working with outstanding Directors, Producers and Crew in general on some of the biggest TVC’s and Music Videos in production in the UK.

I’ve worked all over the world on every kind of shoot with all kinds of cast & toys! And have over the many years gained valuable experience, knowledge and lasting friendships. 

I offer a calm, experienced knowledge of the industry and how it works on every level.
