Sascha Marden

Sascha is a DGA (Director’s Guild of America) First A.D. with specialist experience in action, VFX and vehicle based films through to comedy, beauty, fashion and sport.

Sascha has worked with some of the most exciting directors in the industry including Baz Luhrmann, Taika Waititi, Noam Murro, Roar Uthaug, Tim Godsall, Jeff Low, Aaron Stoller, Keith Schofield and Henry Hobson, alongside renowned actors, celebrity and sporting talent such as Idris Elba, Jeff Bridges, Keira Knightley, Chris Hemsworth, Ariana Grande, Martin Freeman, Bella Hadid, Kim Kardashian, David Beckham, Lando Norris, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Radiohead and King Charles III.

In addition to his work in long form Drama, Sascha has worked more than 2,000 days on commercial campaigns, including many US Superbowl and UK Christmas commercials, for UK & US companies Biscuit, Anonymous Content, Caviar, PrettyBird, MJZ, Knucklehead, Iconoclast, Park Pictures, Rogue, Academy, Rattling Stick and Somesuch amongst others, as well as French, German, Italian and Australian companies.

Although currently working mainly in commercials, in 2021 he completed work on a Netflix feature film in Norway, directed by Roar Uthaug. His training was on American features (Superman Returns, Happy Feet) and award winning TV series (Spielberg’s The Pacific, Gangs of Oz, Packed to the Rafters). He has worked extensively in mainland Europe, China, Japan, South America, North Africa, South Africa, the Arctic, Mauritius, Pakistan and the Middle East, as well as in the UK and his native Australia.
