Freddie Goffey

I’m a Production Assistant with 8 years’ experience working across commercials and global shoots. I’ve worked on projects that span multiple continents, collaborating with crews from all over the world and getting stuck into the logistics that come with that.

Over the years I’ve built up a solid network of crew I trust, which means I can pull together the right people quickly depending on what a job needs. I’ve also production managed a number of commercial projects, including one that made it to cinema, so I understand what’s required when things need to hit a high standard.

I’ve worked with a range of talent, which has taught me how important it is to stay calm, organised and respectful on set—especially when things are moving quickly and expectations arehigh. It’s made me good at reading situations and making sure both talent and crew, client and agency are looked after.

I started out as a runner and did that for several years, which gave me hands-on experience across every department. That’s something I still rely on now—it helps me slot in wherever needed and understand how everything connects on a shoot.

I also spent two years working as an Assistant Producer on the agency side with Sky Creative, so I’ve seen the process from the other end as well. It’s given me a better understanding of how projects come together from idea through to delivery, and how to balance creative and practical needs along the way.

I enjoy the pace of production and being someone people can rely on when things get busy.
