Fabio is a Spanish-born London-based film producer with over 15 years of experience in production. He has worked with some of the fashion industry’s most highly regarded photographers and directors, including Mario Testino, Nick Knight, Mariano Vivanco, Elizabeta Porodina, etc. He has produced for clients such as Chanel, Vogue, Maison Margiela, Lululemon, Calvin Klein, Apple, Adidas, Equinox and Burberry. He also runs MAYOR Productions and sister agency Fe Creatives.
Originally hailing from Lugo, in the north-west of Spain, Fabio studied civil engineering at university before leaving to pursue his interest in the creative arts. He began working as a sound engineer while studying production at film school. During this time, he discovered his passion for film production and formed his love for the creativity within the production process.
After graduating from film school, Fabio moved to London in 2009 and soon began working on fashion advertising at Progression Media. After four years, Fabio completed his tenure at the company with work on an Academy Award-qualifying short film, 3 Hours (2010), and a full-length feature film, Fast Girls (2012).
Fabio then moved to MarioTestino+, where he started as a film producer. Quickly climbing the ranks to lead on all film and TVC production, post-production, and stills work, he became acting Executive Producer. His clients included Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Vogue, V magazine, Stuart Weitzman, Calzedonia Group, and Diageo.
In 2018, Fabio charted a new course by establishing MAYOR Productions, swiftly earning a reputation as a trusted collaborator with industry giants like Maison Margiela and Irish van Herpen, as well as publications including Vogue, Sunday Times Style, and Harper’s Bazaar. Central to MAYOR’s ethos is a commitment to equality, sustainability and transparency, providing a premium service without the premium price tag.
