Chris Cable
Producer
Chris Cable is an award-winning advertising producer with 15+ years experience in moving image and photographic campaigns, creating content and delivering quality commercials and productions of the highest standard across the globe for some of the world’s biggest brands.
Chris studied Film theory at Southampton University, with a special interest in Japanese studios and animation and has a passion for Studio Ghibli and the work of Hayao Miyazaki.
During his time as a Producer Chris has worked with many established and renowned directors including Wim Wenders, Steve Cope, Becky Martin, Richard Laxton and Jason Lowe. Prior to Producing, Chris worked in film PR with Freud Communications and Premier PR. Alongside this he was a Script Reader for a number of London based production houses including EON Productions, Celador and First Line Entertainment.
During the pandemic, when live action productions took a hiatus, Chris revived his interest in photography. He worked on a number of personal projects and won several competitions, including with the David Hill Gallery. Since then Chris has developed a successful events and portrait photography business, working with clients such as London Business School, Fatt Pundit Restaurants, Vietnamese Kitchen and personal clients for private events and weddings.
Personal projects include Wayfarers, featuring portraits of people from all over the world who stay with Chris in his Airbnb spare room, and Film Life which documents behind the scenes on commercial shoots around the world.
