Barney Hartwill

I’m an attentive and creative person with a keen eye for detail. I work hard and have a passion for this industry. Having studiedInternational Security and Terrorism at university with the hopeof becoming the next James Bond, it was my love of film that led to a shift from espionage to the world behind the camera.

During my first few years in the industry, I cut my teeth as a runner, both in house and on set all over the UK, developing a strong understanding of what makes a shoot come together. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some truly wonderful and talented people, and can’t wait to work with and learn from many more.

Now working full time in the world of production, I use skills developed on set and at the 2025 APA Masterclass to assist with call sheets, budgeting, movement orders and more as we tackle the many challenges that this amazing, crazy industry throws at us.
