Alyssa Carper

production assistant

My first job in the industry was making gift bags for a James Franco Gucci commercial. Since then, things have only gotten stranger – from wrangling stormtroopers in the desert, shutting down the Disneyland Park, watching Tom Brady seductively smell bread, to flying on a zero gravity plane… I think it’s fair to say working in commercials has never been boring!

Originally from Texas (yeehaw), I lived and worked in Los Angeles for 12 years. In that time I was lucky to work with some of the best people and companies in the business, primarily in union commercials. In 2024, I made the big move to the UK and haven’t looked back since. It’s certainly been a new challenge but I always love working with good people who like to find the fun side in what can sometimes be a very surreal job. Working on set always feel like the start and end of a school year, saying hello too familiar crew, lots of hugs and catching up on life. The end is filled with goodbyes (more hugs) and wondering how we made it through in one piece, only to do it all over again in a couple weeks.

When I’m not working you’ll likely find me exploring thrift shops, strolling through the park and sleeping myself back to humanity after the last shoot.
