David Calland

I started in the industry as a runner in 1996 and moved my way through the AD ranks, now having 27 years production experience working on over 300 music videos and 800 commercials to date.

I have many years of experience behind the scenes as a 2nd AD and bring this skillset with me when planning and scheduling a job as a 1st AD.

I like to run a collaborative, well-organized set and keep a calm, logistical head when the pressure is on.

I enjoy the fact that although the process is similar, every job is different and there’s always something new to be learnt on each and every one.
