Barney Hartwill

I’ve been a Runner for 2 years, and in that time have lent a hand on a
 wide range of shoots and worked with some incredibly talented people. 
I’ve learnt that Running takes a unique set of skills. For example,
 how to take down an easy-up in the pouring rain, maintaining the radio
 list and ensuring none get lost and keeping the crew and clients fed
 and caffeinated.

Having learnt my craft on set, I’m now looking to climb up the
production ladder and am keen to assist with booking crew, organising travel and preparing a callsheet.  I know which end of a camera to look
 through and not to stand in front of the lights but I don’t yet know how 
to budget and would probably struggle organising a 5-country shoot on 
my own.

I love this industry and while I’d jump at the chance to help out in 
the production office, I will always be happy to run on set. If you’re 
looking for a Runner who can drive, think on their feet and make a
